Next, Saturn will go direct on November 15th in Aquarius, a time when many people will start forming strong community ties and social circles will become very clear. This is because Saturn is considered the Lord of the Rings, overseeing social connections, including food, drink, clothing, beliefs, and culture—defining what makes a Democrat a Democrat, a Republican a Republican, or a Mexican a Mexican. Next up, here we go, everyone! This is what we've all been waiting for—it's Scorpio season! From November 16th to December 16th, the sun will be in Scorpio. The sun represents light and the flavor that shines across the world, while Scorpio is associated with themes of death, secrets, and all that spooky, scary stuff. Scorpio embodies secrets, scary stuff, scarab, the sacrum, the psyche, and psychology. It's the realm of the hidden, where things lie in the dark.
With the sun transiting through Scorpio, many secrets will start to surface. We can expect revelations about how people have been harming each other—whether psychologically and emotionally, continuing cycles of trauma, or physically through food and chemicals, and everything that’s constantly being sprayed on us. A little Scorpio double whammy! Mercury will be retrograde, oh my Lord, from November 26th through December 15th. And yes, it's that Scorpio energy, but with an extra super chocolate chip, two-scoops kind of experience, topped with a cherry. Expect a lot of media and energy, along with arguing and fighting, which Mercury loves to do.
To be clear, there's a shadow period with Mercury retrograde about two weeks before and two weeks after. So, the shadow period started on November 7th and ends on January 3rd. Just to clarify, that's when the poop really hits the fan on November 7th—election day. It gets intense on November 26th, as we clean up the mess by December 15th, but the effects fully wrap up by January 3rd. I recommend putting these dates in your phonereminders so you can prepare.
Globally, we're going to see tons of secrets come out. Is there election interference? Are there secrets about both candidates? What’s going on with wars around the globe? Why are people really fighting? There may be more attempts on people’s lives and candidates as well. So, expect a lot of "Oh my God, that’s not fun." It can feel overwhelming with this scary dark stuff, but that’s what Scorpio rules—it delves into the shadows where the sun doesn’t shine.
When we bring it out into the light, that’s how we can confront it and move forward. Wherever Scorpio rules in your birth chart, whatever house that is, expect a lot of this craziness to unfold. So when the zombie comes to you, give it a big kiss on the cheek, blow its head off, turn it into compost, and feed it to your black soldier fly larvae to grow some beautiful new roses.
